Langlade 33" Double Basin Top-Mount Enameled Cast-Iron Kitchen Sink with Smart Divide
Beautiful and Handy
Pros: Gorgeous, functional
Cons: Heavy, scratched easier than I expected
My husband and I ordered this online to get the single faucet hole and two accessory holes. The first sink we received was actually warped too much for proper installation, but FaucetDirect was great about replacing it at no charge to us.
We love the look of the sink, and I really like the dropped center divider. All the benefits of two basins, but I can still get big pans in it for washing or use one side for soaking. We bought a faucet with an attached sprayer in the head, so we used the two accessory holes for a soap dispenser and garbage disposal button - both excellent to have so handy.
Keep in mind this sink is more than 100 pounds, so installation is tricky. Also, since it's cast iron, there's no flexibility, so if you have a warp as we did, it's difficult to work around and may mean it needs to be replaced.
What makes this a 4 instead of 5 for me is that the porcelain finish scratched far easier than I expected. I use baking stoneware, and I was used to rotating the pizza stone around the sink while cleaning, but the rubbing against the sink left scratches. I even have to be careful with pots and pans because any kind of rough rubbing can leave marks, so you'll want to use some kind of protection on the sink surface when cleaning such items.
