Amazing sink!
This sink is the greatest addition to our just installed beautiful granite. We purchased it for the low rise divider in the middle and the color of black & tan is perfect!

beautiful sink
I spent the extra $ on the sea salt finish and while it is a sublte difference from plain white, people really notice it. It's hard to describe but I really like it and feel it was worth the $. I was worried the low middle divider would not give me a deep enough basin for when I do my canning and am prepping tons of fruit/veggies, but it has worked out great. The basins are huge and deep and the shape is just gorgeous. I put it in a white marble counter top and love the way it looks!

love this sink
liked our previous Kohler so looked for a Kohler replacement when we replaced counters. both sinks are similar shape and work well with oversized pots and pans. wasn't sure about the low divider but it keeps me from bumping stemware as I wash and rinse.

iron cobalt blue color disappointing
I was looking forward to this iron cobalt blue sink as the focus point of a kitchen redo, but the sink is more purple than blue. It wasn't even close to the cobalt blue pendant lights hanging above the sink and the cobalt blue drawer pulls and knobs I had. After sending Kohler some pictures, I learned this sink was exactly the color they said it should be. I am greatly disappointed and wish Kohler had a cobalt blue sink instead of a deep purple sink. I would imagine the market for deep purple sinks is fairly limited ? I think the sink itself is a great size and shape. Plan carefully for the weight.

Better than expected
I thought this would be a great buy. The sink was actually much better than expected. Looks great and due to the design, it is much more functional than I expected. I would recommend this product to anyone that wants a great looking sink that out performs regular style sinks.

Great Looking, but...
This sink looks beautiful (bought it in white) and I love it! I gave it only 4 stars because my contractor sort of freaked out because of how heavy it was compared to normal sinks. He had to build some sort of steel brackets to help hold it up because he was worried about it being too heavy for a countertop. Just something to look into before buying!

Delighted in West Texas
We liked this sink so much that we bought a second one just like it for our guest house. The price was the best I could find anywhere after extensive researching. The sink looks like it is part of our Crema Bordeaux granite. I really enjoy the lower divide between the two sides. It makes cleaning so easy. I am completely delighted with my Langlade sink, twice!!

Is the P-trap necessary for installation for both the langlade and the napa sinks?
A p trap is always necessary for sink installation. Your plumber may be able to use the one that is currently installed however.
I'm configuring this cast iron sink in white and want to know what is the most durable material for the basket strainer and flange - meaning will not get scratched by cleaners when I try to clean tea stains?
A Stainless steel finish would be the most durable and scratch resistant.
What is the weight of this sink? Is special support needed to install as not to crack the granite countertops?
The Kohler k-6626-6U weighs 150 lbs and does come with mounting/support brackets.
Can the undermount sink be used with laminate countertops?
Technically yes, but since the hole will not be concealed, you will run into puttin laminate on the sides of the hole, which may prove too difficult to pull off.
Do I need 2 basket strainers or just 1? I have a disposal already...didn't know if I need a strainer over the disposal side or not.
If you have a disposal on one side then you would only need one basket strainer & drain assembly. On the other side you would use a disposal flange.
Is this 22" sink too deep for a 24" cabinet? With the cabinet framework, there is only 22.5" clearance inside the cabinet.
The Kohler k-6626-6U has a bowl depth of 15", yes it will fit.
Is there available rubber sink basin protectors custom fit for this sink?
The Kohler k-6626-6U is not designed with a custom rubber protector, I'm afraid.
