Vinnata Pullout Spray Kitchen Faucet
Very good quality
I just finished installing the Kohler K-690, and I wanted to share a few impressions I have about it. First, the faucet is very good quality - sturdy, and well finished. Second, it is quite large. My wife said it looks like something that could be in a commercial kitchen. This makes it very functional - great water flow and spraying action, but it isn't a dainty little faucet. Final impression was that it was very easy to install. It took me 30 minutes to wrestle out our old faucet, and about 10 minutes to put this one in. All you need is a wrench (to tighten water lines), a screwdriver (to tighten two leveling screws), and perhaps some thread tape or plumbers putty to seal the water lines. The faucet comes equipped with flexible stainless water lines, so it's very easy to connect. I've uploaded a photo of our installation.

I suppose that my problem is a minor one although it is annoying. I purchased a Kohler undermount cast iron sink along with this faucet. The odd shape of the sink (double basins that are not the same size) determined that I could only use the round escutcheon, which was fine. However with the granite countertop, the pipe was not long enough to allow the escutcheon to be used. These are not low end products so I don't think that the use with granite should be a problem. While it doesn't seem to effect the workings of the faucet, I do think it would look better with the extra ring at the bottom. Other than that, I'm very pleased.

Not too big
The size is perfect - some said it might be too large so I almost ordered the bar faucet and I'm so glad I chose this one. My ceilings are high and the room is about 12' by 22' so I wanted something substantial and this fits the bill. It's plump and curvy!
We have been using it for a month and it's a dream faucet. Love the finish and smooth operation, though it does splash a bit. We originally had the handle mounted on the left but moved it to the center so water drips into the sink rather than on the granite - good choice for a family of lefties and righties.
To the right is the Kohler K-1994 soap dispenser in the same finish. They look great together and this dispenser is so heavy and much better quality than the 2 cheapies (about 1/4th the price of this one) I previously purchased from home improvement centers.
My only concern is that the finishes between the 2 Kohler products are only a 95% match, even though they are both BRZ. I returned the fist dispenser to faucetdirect asking for another BRZ due to the finish being off from the faucet. The second dispenser was exactly the same. I kept both of them anyway because they are beautiful.

This faucet met all of our expectations - it is LARGE, so keep that in mind if you are buying this for your kitchen. We wanted a large faucet, so that worked well for us. The oil rubbed bronze is beautiful. it is very sturdy and definitely worth the cost. faucet direct offered the best price for this product, by far, and we also found an online coupon, which was great! delivery was quick and everything we needed for installation was included. We've only had it installed a few days, so i can't speak to how this product holds up...but, so far so good! Also---great feature that the handle can be installed in the front or on either side of the faucet - we installed the handle on the front and it's working great.

Great looking and awsome function. When we started our kitchen renovation I hadn't even looked into faucets and was a little surprised at the expense. We were determined to get a great faucet and we did! Had to get use to it at first and were questioning our choice but after a week we knew we had nailed it. We were looking at Grohe since it was the name that is really hot right now but it wouldn't have been available on time and I'm happy for it!!!! We were told by our town plumbing inspector that it was a really great faucet. The Grohe that we were going to buy was the same money and their lower end product but this is Kohler's top of the line and it certainly feels and looks like that.

Beautiful, Expensive Junk
This is the most beautiful piece of junk I have ever purchased. Still love the look, but it leaked, the side plastic cap next to the handle kept coming off and wouldn't stay snapped in. Kohler sent me parts 4 times. My plumber also said it was a piece of junk. He spoke to Kohler as well trying to get the correct pieces. Another client of his purchased it and I gave him all the parts as he will need them! Do not be taken in by appearances. The quality is awful and it is a total waste of money!

Great faucet - GREAT COMPANY TO WORK WITH!
Never ordered from Faucets Direct before. Had this faucet in other homes, so needless to say bought it for my newest remodel. The faucet is large, stunning.
Bought the K-1894-C dispenser as well.
The customer service at Faucet Direct cannot be beat. Their LIVE CHAT system is fantastic. I will ALWAYS purchase from them henceforth. Seriously - their prices were by far the best on the internet (plumbers price was $150 more than theirs, Big Box store that features Kohler was $200 more).
THANK YOU Faucet Direct (I dealt with Brie) - you now have all my business!!!

We've had so many problems with this faucet, I am finally replacing it and wonder if I should go with a different brand this time. We originally purchased this faucet in 2003. Within 6 months we had a major water leak. Kohler replaced it quickly and without any questions (thumbs up for the best customer service), but the new faucet began leaking from the handle shortly after installation. I didn't have the energy to do anything about it at the time, so we left it. It has gotten worse and worse and now water practically pours from the handle when we are using the faucet. And the head of the faucet does not attach properly about 80% of the time and limply dangles from the neck. I think Kohler would replace it again but I don't think I want another one.

Kohler K 690
This faucet has been a disappointment to me. The handle has broken 3 times. There is a plastic cap in the lever that cracks. Kohler sends me a new one but if my husband was not handy I would have to hire a plumber to fix this for me. I would recommend that no one buy this until Kohler has a new design plan for the handle. Also the spray does not turn off with the water so it is a shock to turn on the water and have the spray be on.

This faucet works great. The water volume/temperature controls work smoothly, easily, and precisely. The pull-out sprayer is absolutely great! If all you have ever used is one of the old style small sink sprayers, you will be amazed at the volume of water this produces and the flexible, pull-out sprayer head lets you aim it with a accuracy I had only dreamed of. We are both right-handed and so decided to install the faucet with the controls on the left, leaving our right hands free to hold the glass or pot we are filling, or to operate the sprayer. This may seem counter-intuitive, but it is working out great. The faucet is designed to let you do this easily without reversing the way the hot/cold controls work. My husband removed our old faucet and installed this new one is less than a morning of work, and without difficulty.
