The Kohler K-702206-G54 is not good for that fitting. The only ones we have for the 54" size are by MaaX.

What shower door do I use for a 46" opening?
The Kohler K-702206-G54 is for a 56" to 60" opening. You would want the shower door that fits a 44-5/8 to 47-5/8, which is Product No. 702208.
58.50" opng. will 59.62W. fit opng. allowing enough overlap?
The Kohler K-702206-G54 will fit with a 58.5" opening but there will be slightly more overlap of the trim in the center. If you have any other questions I would be happy to help.
Does this glass have the "clean coat" technology?
The Kohler K-702206-G54 shower door does have the CleanCoat™ glass coating that repels water for easy cleaning.
