Great purchase I remodeled my bath and decided to purchase the Kohler shower bypass doors. They are very good looking doors and were fairly easy to install. The glass doors are heavy and it takes two people to install. Great overall purchase. Very happy with them. August 29, 2011

disappointed I made this purchase because of the favorable view I have for the Kohler brand. I am very disappointed in the quality of the 3/8" thick glass shower door. The door is very wobbly. There should be a guide or rollers on the bottom track to hold the door study. If the door was not so heavy I would definitely return it as I am very unhappy with the quality. May 8, 2011

Worth the Money I decided to spend the extra money to get the 3/8's inch Kohler shower doors. They add a noticeable feel of luxury and safety to the bathroom. By choosing our products wisely and buying here, we saved a LOT of money and still have an upgraded bathroom with a luxury look and feel. April 15, 2011

Elegant and cost effective We are very pleased with our new shower doors. We removed our old tub and I hated cleaning the tracks on the door. This model is great for cleaning; all the water drips out the bottom so there is none standing. Our squeegie quickly used after showers makes for clear, drip-free glass. Our only problem is that some water spatters outside through the little crack between the two doors, but a bathroom rug solves that problem. Highly recommend this buy for the money. January 5, 2011

are there handles on both doors or only the outside door? Also, what color are the rubber bumpers?

The Kohler K-702207-L Fluence 3/8" Thick Glass Bypass Shower Door - 59-5/8" W x 70-5/16" H does, in fact, have handles on both doors.

Are you sure this unit can be an effected (sealed) steam shower door?

After talking with Kohler, the K-702207-L is not designed to be used with a steam shower. It is a regular bypass shower door and Kohler can not guarantee that it will hold the steam in because it is not designed for that use.

does this shower door k702207 come with clean coat technology?

The Kohler K-702207-L is equipped with CleanCoat.

How easy is it to clean the track?

The track on the Kohler K-702207-L is fairly easy to clean. Just slide the door back and then you can wipe out the track.

What is actual headroom when door is open?

The Kohler K-702207-L headroom when the door is open to walk through is 67-3/16" high.

why couldn't this be installed on a 5 foot tub with adequate ceiling height???

The Kohler K-702207-L must be under 60" to meet industry safety standards.

Will this door work with the Kohler salient shower receptor model K-9053

The Kohler K-702207-L has an over all width of 59 5/8", the receptor has a width of 60". Depending on your application the doors could work, they are meant to be installed in between two walls.

can the bottom rail be mounted on top of cast iron tub and make it as a tub enclosuer

While The Kohler K-702207-L is not intended to be used as a tub enclosure, your installer may be able to make that work.

Can this be installed with standard 5 feet bathtub?

The Kohler K-702207-L can't be installed on a standard 5 foot tub because it has a max of 59 5/8" which would cover the whole tub.

does it void warranty if side rails are cut

The Kohler K-702207-L with any manual modifications will void the warranty on the K-702207-L

Is there a handle on the the outside of the inside door to open the inside door?

The Kohler K-702207-L has an inside and outside bar that opens and closes the doors.

What is the minimum width opening that can be used to fit this door in? We have about 55" 1/2.

The Kohler K-702207-L will not work. It is 56 5/8" - 59 5/8".

will this door work for oppenning 55" W x 80" if not can you recomend any other shower door which will?

The Kohler K-702207-L will not work with the 55" W because it only goes to 56 5/8" minimum. There isn't a bypass door that is 55" W made by Kohler.

The Kohler K-702207-L will work with the K-9053.

I am looking for grey color glass

The Kohler K-702207-L will have clear glass. I am not able to bring up any shower doors that have a grey color glass.

What product is best to use to clean spots on the shower doors?

The Kohler K-702207-L water spots can be removed with water and white viniger
