Attractive, but not bright The T10 tubular bulbs are a nuisance - difficult to find with enough light output. the 40W bulbs available at my local store are not nearly bright enough, and there are no good CFL options in this size. Use this fixture only if you need just a little light. September 6, 2011

Excellent product Very sharp looking product and looks fantastic in my newly renovated bathroom. No more diffiuclt to install than any other lighting product. Would highly recommend it. Unit was able to accomodate slim/compact high-efficiency flourescent light bulbs (rather than the recommended torpedo shaped traditional light bulbs). September 1, 2010

Does this fixture provide a lot of light? From the image it doesn't look like it. I'm trying to provide light over a 6' dry bar.

Does the brushed nickel come in florescent?

A. The Kovacs GK P5042 in brushed nickel only comes in the incandescent and not the florescent.

Does this light provide enough light to illuminate an 8'x8' bathroom singly? Thanks.

A. The Kovacs GK P5042 uses 2 bulbs which should but because the glass is frosted the light does get diffused and probably will not give off sufficient light by itself.

Would two of these provide ample lighting over a double vanity? Also, would use of this fixture avoid casting shadows on one's face?

A. The Kovacs GK P5042 would definitely provide ample lighting over a double vanity. The shadows being cast upon ones face really doesn't depend on the fixture but more of where it is hung.
