Good light; picture color not true
This light is good in the bathroom over a wood framed rectangular mirror. Only comment is that the photo on site reflects a slightly bronze colored affect which is not true.

Glam bath bar
Wanted ambient light for a relatively small bath that wasn't feminine/masculine specific. This light is perfect for task or mood lighting with dimmer. Easy installation and had priced at 3 brick and mortar retailers $70 to $90 higher. Style is not over-contemporary and will compliment most decor. Kudos!

I have a a medicine cabinet mirror that is about 5.5" in depth. Is this an ideal light to place above a mirror with such depth?

Is there a replacement bulb I can use that is NOT made by the manufacturer? (i.e. one I could buy at any local hardware store?)
The Kovacs GK P5044 use 3- 40W Xenon DC bayonett bubs. Light bulbs are an entire new business these days. If you entire light bulbs on line, you will get a whole page of businesses that deal only in bulbs! That would be the best place to order more. Thank you, Kathleen
My bathroom fixtures are gold. Is the color antique gold or will it go well with gold fixtures? My fixtures are contemporary.
The Kovacs GK P5044 in "Painted Restoration Bronze" would work with your existing gold fixtures. The nickel finish would not go with your gold fixtures.
What are the dimensions of the rectangular base that is attached to the wall?

Could you clarify the side clearance questions? It says it requires 3" on the right side AND 19"??
The glass on this sides off to get to the bulb. So on the side that you install it to remove the glass needs a 19" clearance, the other side only needs 3".
How many lumens does this light give off?
The lumens produced does depend on what bulb you choose, but typically a 40w Xenon bulb produces 540-560 lumens. A 40 watt incandescent bulb produces 460 lumens while a 60 watt incandescent bulb produces 890 lumens.
