Bad LuckThese lights are very sharp looking. Modern and sleek. I have installed MANY lights in my lifetime and these were a mess. The installation process was fine it was the lights themselves that failed. It took me about 8 hours to install three of these lights above my kitchen island. 2 of the 3 lights had bad electronic transformers which I had to replace. I went ahead and replaced all 3 considering two were already bad. Secondly the plastic "nut" in the canopy does not tighten fully so the piece that holds the wire and light hangs crooked. I fixed that by making my own sort of "hanging brace" on the inside of the canopy. As I started - these lights are very nice looking, I just wish I didn't have to spend the extra time and $72 to make them work. Maybe I just got a batch of lemons.

Error belowThe answer below stating halogen lights cannot be used with a dimmer is incorrect. If you are a perfectionist, there are dimmers made for halogen lighting and readily available at even a Home Depot. They are pricey. You can also use standard dimmers on halogen lights with the worst event being slightly less bulb life. I once wrote to three large transformer manufacturers for guidance on whether or not to purchase the more expensive "electronic" dimmers. All three said a standard dimmer was fine with their transformers and 12v halogen lights.
For a company selling lights, this should have been known.

These can be installed using a low voltage dimmer.I was an electrician by trade for 25 years and as mentioned above, you can use a dimmer on these pendants or nearly any low voltage lighting. You just need to use the proper dimmer. I have halogen lighting all over my house, mostly 4 inch recessed lighting, and all are on dimmers. They are not low voltage however, but you will need to buy a low voltage dimmer for these to work properly. I have tried regular dimmers on 12v lighting in the past with a poor degree of success. The dimmer usually quits working in a few days time or minutes in some cases and it causes the transformers in the fixtures to hum, not a good thing. I always install a low voltage dimmer on 12v lighting on jobs where dimmers are requested. Yes they cost about $50 to $70, but it is well worth buying the right dimmer for proper functionality and of more importantly safety. It also needs to meet the recommended wattage of the total wattage of the lighting being dimmed, preferable exceeding it some.
Recently, I installed three of these pendants for an old client of mine and I put them on a low voltage dimmer to eliminate any hassles later. The pendants are easy to install, very well made and I had them up and running in less than three hours. She has not had any issues with dimming these lights. They look incredible and very modern. I did have to go back about a week later to level these again as the cords do become misaligned a little as they finally straighten out fully. Still no issues with the lights or dimming using the proper dimmer.
I installed all of the lighting and dimmers in our home using a home automation system. They are all on Z-Wave dimmers and some are Creston. The only lighting not automated is in the bathrooms. Even our shades are automated. I am using a rack server to control lighting, cameras, and multi-room sound with specialty software and other equipment hidden in a large closet. There is also a server that allows us to watch our movies from any room or portable device through our network and remotely from just about anywhere. I can turn lights on and off from anywhere with my iPad or iPhone and check the status of them to see if they are on or off. I can also set certain lights to come on and go off at various times and at different levels of brightness. This sounds lazy, but it has saved us a lot of money on our energy bill and in the evening, the lights come on every night at dusk just as we want them to. I am considering four of these for our house over our bar area. The dimmer for the automation system is extremely expensive. Roughly $300, as it would need to be the 300 watt version. That is the main reason I haven't bought these yet. I am a big fan of halogen lighting as it is a nice and very clean and crisp looking light source. It works well for task lighting and has a superior glow to incandescent lighting.
I can personally say these are very good looking lights and easy to install from my experience working with this well known brand of lighting. Having installed many fixtures, this brand is one of the higher end brands and very reliable. Highly recommended if you like the look. If you have any doubts or concerns about working with electricity, it is always best to consult with a professional electrician in your area.

High QualityThis pendant is very high quality. It came with two bulbs which is a really nice feature. They look great, however I would have liked it even more if it came with a longer cord.

Fantastic In Our SpaceWe are in the midst of an office remodel, and these lights we're chosen to add some flair to our reception counter. We selected them because of the modern look and exposed metal behind the glass.
We couldn't be more pleased with the outcome, and they provide great lighting for the space.
