Sink Technologies / Benefits:
Extra Thick, 16 Gauge Stainless Steel: Short of paying thousands of dollars, 16 gauge is as thick as sinks come (22% thicker than 18 gauge; 36% thicker than 20 gauge). Thicker steel means a stronger sink (hence the lifetime warranty) while also offering a richer and more robust appearance to the finish that is easily discernible from the white-washed, cheap look of thinner sinks.
Premium Grade T-304 Stainless Steel: There are two primary types of stainless steel in the market: T-409 and the higher quality T-304. The difference lies in chromium and nickel contents; T-409 with 11% and .5% respectively, T-304 with 18% and 10%. When added to steel, these two metals prevent oxidation and rust by neutralizing sodium chloride (salt) – a common element in everyday kitchens. While cheaper sinks use T-409, Kraus sinks boast T-304, further lending to the lifetime warranty.
Sound Insulated: Sound insulated steel is commonly only thought of in the automobile industry. There, auto manufacturers use spray-on “Stone Guard” insulation to provide for a quieter ride and protect the steel. Borrowing this technology and adding to it, Kraus sinks use Stone Guard insulation, sprayed over rubber sound dampening pads to create a noticeably lower-tone and overall quieter kitchen sink. It also protects your cabinet from underside condensation drips.
Included Dish Grid (Basin Rack) and Basket Strainer (Drain): It’s a wonder why dish grids aren’t included with all sinks; they serve a valuable role. Not only do they virtually eliminate scratches, they allow the sink to properly drain, preventing sink scum and protecting your cutlery. As with most Kraus kitchen sinks, this sink includes the stainless steel sink grid along with the stainless steel basket strainer you’ll need for installation.
Faucet Technologies / Benefits:
Precision Kerox Cartridges: The cartridge’s job is to deliver smooth handle operation and water flow, throughout hundreds of thousands of uses, without ever leaking – all while under a punishing 60 pounds-per-square-inch of pressure. For these reasons, it is quite literally what “makes or breaks” the faucet. Kraus understands this, so they take no shortcuts here, importing their cartridges from the world’s leading manufacturer of high-end precision ceramic disc cartridges, Kerox in Hungary.
Swiss-Made NeoPerl Aerators: Aerators are possibly the most under-appreciated component within faucets. Not only do they soften the stream (preventing splashing), but they also control the straightness, diameter, overall delivery of water. Fortunately, like their cartridges, Kraus recognizes this and chooses to takes no gambles here – they import their aerators from NeoPerl in Switzerland, the world’s leading manufacturer for high-end and specialty aerators.

Beautiful Design, Functionality and Appearence!I had this complete product (sink, faucet, soap dispenser) installed into my new quartz countertop as I renovated my kitchen. The sink is mounted underneath making a nice, sleek appearence. Excellent depth and perfectly functional. I do notice however, that occasionally the faucet drips slightly. By turning the water on and off momentarily, the drip stops. I don't know what that is all about. Replenishing the soap dispenser is difficult. You must reach under the counter to unscrew it (which is not so difficult) but puttint the full soap cannister back on is a chore. I would have designed this soap dispenser unit with a larger cannister so the number of times you would have to fill it would be less. Outside of that, it looks terrific and is very functional. The protective bottom sink grill is strong and sturdy. The reason why I chose this sink unit is because of its stainless steel guage (thickness). Compare this to other brands and you will quickly see why this sink feels so solid. (In comparing, remember that the lower the guage number, the thicker the stainless steel.) It does not have that flimsy metallic sound like other brands of stainless steel sinks.

Good QualityThe sink and faucet are great and appear to be of high quality. A few years of use will be necessary to see if I'm right. The soap dispenser looks very nice and works well as long as you push down on the main top. It would be nice if it were designed such that you could also push down on the spout for use with one hand, but this method does not work very well.

Superb quality, terrific purchase, seller is exempFirst, I want to say that I loved dealing with faucetdirect.com. Shipping was free and very quick. I received the products ordered in only a couple of days.
About the sink: I love it. It's excellent quality, perfect finish, the sound dampening feature is great. It's not as wide or as long as my old sink, but it's deeper and I like that aspect very much. Love the rack that came with the sink. The sink stopper seats just right. I'm highly satisfied with the sink.
About the faucet: I read all of the reviews, there were a few shortcomings, but overall people seemed to like the faucet. Now that I've been using it for a week, I will say that other people's criticisms are true, but the good qualities make up for minor shortcomings. On the plus side, it's very substantial and sturdy. The stainless steel is very high quality. The pullout spray is a little tricky to seat back into the housing; it takes some maneuvering. When in spray mode (as opposed to stream), the thing does throw spray a bit. So I just leave it in stream mode unless I need spray and it's fine. The on/off control is a little stiff, making it tricky to run the faucet at low pressure. But it is possible with some practice. The pull-out feature has a strong return spring action. I'm probably just used to my worn pull-out sprayer which had no spring return action left. As with the sink, I am completely satisfied with the faucet.
To summarize: I highly recommend this seller, faucetdirect. I love the sink, and I love the faucet in spite of a few minor shortcomings.

Good, but not greatGood for right handed users, but poor for left handed. I did not consider that before purchasing. Also, very easy to move, so end up with more water coming out of faucet then wanted and splashes over counter, etc. Other than that, other features are nice.

KPF-2121 Kitchen Faucet and SD-20 Soap DispenserExcellent. Very good Quality.
Very thick stainless Sink and very quiet.
Faucet is very nice looking and well made.
The only downside is the strainer, which I didn't use because I have a disposal. It's the only plastic part.
