32" Undermount 60/40 Double Bowl 16 Gauge Stainless Steel Kitchen Sink with Pullout Spray Kitchen Faucet and Soap Dispenser
It's Beautiful, Quiet, Stylish and Well Worth It
We removed Corian counter tops, a tile backsplash and a cheap home builder drop in stainless steel sink. We then nstalled 3cm granite tops and full height granite backsplash and we needed a 16 gauge 60/40 sink with a fully stainless steel faucet that would blend with the new granite.
I looked at the big box stores and found nothing I wanted in a faucet or sink. Stumbled onto FaucetDirect.com and bought this beauty. Shipped on time, boxed very well and was stunned when I pulled them all 3 items out of their respective boxes.
The sink is 16 gauge, the faucet is heavy and well made and the soap dispenser is too. All in all a great buy.
Now lets look at the picture shown and talk about installation. Sink was installed by my granite contractor and I was there and it was easy and flawless.
I specifically asked them to turn the faucet upon installation so that the handle is directly in the front and not off to the right side as shown in the picture. Why?
One reason is that when your hands are wet and you go to turn it off water drops off your hands onto your counter tops. If it's mounted in the front water on your hands drops into the sink. No wiping down for you.
Second it looks awesome like that. The handle dial has a small red and blue dot, left and right side of the handle indicating hot and cold water. When the handle is mounted on the side you and your guests do see that. No biggie but why not see it and be aware of which way is hot and cold. Attention to detail.
The two black rubber buttons to change the water flow can also be turned to the back of the faucet so you don't see them. This gives you all stainless steel look dead on, but the buttons are out of view but still work great.
You or your plumber just need to make sure to hook the hot and cold water lines up to the correct plumbing of the sink.
Also the picture shows the soap dispenser mounted in the middle of the left sink. I would suggest mounting in on that same side but further towards the right corner and not in the middle.
Kraus is a great product and highly recommend this combo.

16 gauge makes a difference, very quiet. My wife said why did we wait so long to upgrade. I will use Kraus again, even better than expected, nice quality, and quick delivery.

Love the sink, like the faucet, soap disp. a miss
Overall I am pleased with my purchase, but with a couple of qualifications. The sink is great! Wonderful finish, love the sink grids (I actually added the sink basket to the smaller bowl), perfect size (fits my largest baking pans for soaking). The faucet does seem very well built, sturdy, great metal finish. The complaint I have with it is the way the nozzle fits into the spout. It is very hard to remove and replace. I did call Kraus and asked if this was normal, and they replied that it is supposed to fit "nice and snug". Well, to me it is extremely tight. The other complaint I had was with the soap dispenser. It is very hard to dispense the soap. I have ended up buying a different soap dispenser because of this, and I have noticed that other reviewers have remarked on the same problem.
