Plastic part broke Pros: I love the look of this product. It's modern and sleek. Kraus customer service is sending me a replacement dispenser at no cost. That's pretty cool. Con: In less that a year of having this installed, the plastic dispenser broke off at the screw head. The green soap spilled everywhere under my sink. It was such a mess. It's not a well-made durable item. Don't buy anything with plastic for sink usage. Buy the all metal dispenser for longer lasting use. October 3, 2011

looks nice but... I bought this with the matching faucet during a kitchen remodel. the bronze finish is unusual compared to other manufacturers; it is more of a shiny/metallic dark brown color than I am used to, but it is still attractive. the problem is with the function. my favorite dishsoap was too thick and did not drain back into the container after dispensing. instead, it costantly dribbled out into the sink. i tried watering it down and using different, thinner soaps, which stopped the dribbling, but then the pump did not have enough "umph" to bring the soap up out of the bottle. the result being that you have to pump the dispenser at least a dozen times to get one tiny little squirt of soap. i am now shopping for a replacement and hoping i can find one that matches the unusual kraus bronze on my faucet, as i dont want to have to replace that as well. all in all a very poor product. Is the dispenser meant for dishwashing liquid or more specifically for hand soap or hand lotion?

The Kraus KSD-30 can be used for dishwasher liquid but it is more meant for hand soap and hand lotion.

Will it work with my 1 1/4" marble?

The Kraus KSD-30 is able to fit a 1-1/4" counter top.
