good fit and finish Easy to install with solid construction. The privacy knobs do have exposed screw holes on the front ring, not all that attractive, but ok for the price. April 20, 2011

Happy with purchase Overall, great product. We're in the process of replacing all "old" fixtures with the bronze. Very pleased with this purchase as it matches all our decor wonderfully. Hubby removed and installed/replaced all door knobs inside our home within an hour or two. He said they were easy. November 15, 2010

Are the screws concealed on this knob?

The Kwikset 300CV does not have concealed screws.

I have an old 1-1/4" bathroom door, will this work? If not, are there other options?

The Emtek 820P would fit a 1-1/4" thickness.

Is this a push button or a turn button lock

The Kwikset 300CV uses a thumbturn on the interior for locking.

What does privacy function mean, does this set lock some how?

Yes, this item does lock. Privacy is the function used as an interior lock for bathrooms and bedrooms. You are able to lock the door from the inside. The outside does have an hole, where you can unlock the door using a privacy key that comes with the item.

What is a thumb turn lock and the picture does not show the hole for the privacy key.

The Kwikset 300CV has a thumbturn style privacy lock & the privacy key hole will be in the center of the knob. The key would just be a long straight pin (I think it kind of resembles an allen wrench). hope this helps!
