Security Series Tylo Privacy Door Knobset
Wow, I needed a lockset with two finishes, different on each side. I thought I was going to have to buy two and combine them to make one. But these guys had what I needed and I love it.

Being the only place I could get the exact finish and size I needed to match the rest of my house, along with a good price, I ordered extra and will return. Very pleased.

The door knob works well. But the diagram is incorrect--the center of the door knob is NOT darker for recently manufactured door knobs.

Perfect, exactly what I wanted. No problems at all with service or product.

Exactly what we ordered
We had been looking to replace the brass-colored doorknobs in our house with polished chrome for some time. When the one bedroom door with an actual keyed lock got locked and closed, we realized we never had a key for it (the doorknob came with the house) and decided that it was high time we get around to doing this little project. (We got it open with a credit card, but it was a pain.)
We had previously found other sets that we liked, but we're not made of money, so these ones were a good option. The doorknobs look good and were pretty easy to install. They definitely don't have the ultra-smooth and luxurious action of some higher-end sets, but they work just fine.
The adjuster on the latch is well-designed, and pretty standard. The face plates for the latch assembly were a bit hard to press together, but I managed. I had to chisel out a bit of wood on each door jamb, as the strike plates had a longer piece of metal than the ones I was replacing.
My main gripe (and it is fairly minor), is that the screw heads are on the same side as the OUTSIDE of the set. The description of the product makes the point that the exposed screws are on the INTERIOR side of the doorknob, but to me, that means the INSIDE of the room, on the same side where you would lock the doorknob. The knobs we were replacing were also privacy sets, and the screws were indeed on the inside of the rooms (which makes more sense to me). Why these new ones would have the screws on the outside is a bit of a mystery. Perhaps it's so that you can get into a locked room without a small flathead screwdriver, or the included unlock tool. (Of course, that would require a larger screwdriver to disassemble the set, though.) To be fair, the photos of the various knob finish options for this model DO show the screws on the OUTER half of the knob set (despite what the description stated), so we pretty much knew what we would be getting.
We haven't had any problems with these since installing them, and I don't anticipate that we will. The price for these sets was very good and they certainly do the job that we ask of them.
