This Balboa single cylinder entrance leverset locks and unlocks from the exterior with a key and a push-turn on the interior. It is an excellent choice for front doors, garage doors, and back doors, or anywhere else added security is desired. This lever also features Kwikset's SmartKey technological innovation which allows you to control who has access to your home. SmartKey provides flexibility of re-keying your own lock in three simple steps, without removing it from your door.

Key it Yourself: Lock is rekeyable by using the included learn tool in less than 30 seconds without removing the lock from the door.
SmartKey cylinders also feature a stainless steel side locking bar, racks and pins for increased strength and security.
Includes a fully adjustable latch to fit all standard door preparations.
Includes Round Corner, Square Corner and Drive-In Latch Faceplates. A latch faceplate is the plate that is installed against the latch on the door.

does it come in version for left handed opening doors?

The Kwikset 405BL-S handing is reversible.

Is there a dummy handle available?

The dummy handles that match the Kwikset 405BL-S are the Kwikset 488BL-LH and Kwikset 488BL-RH. You will notice the dummy models are handed (RH is right handed and LH is left handed) because they are stiff dummy products and are not reversible when purchased in the dummy function. However, the keyed entry product above is reversible.
