Worst Purchase ever I brought 8 of this and 7 of them broken within 6 months. They all come in parts! Very poor shipment of Kwikset 71011. Are those door locks are servage? I will not want to buy form this web site if they do not allow warrenty of those door lock. All door lock is installed by locksmith. October 30, 2011

Very satisfied These look awesome on my white interior doors. Replaced an entire household of polished brass, what a difference it makes. The savings on this site are incredible. Bought the first Kwikset Lido at a natl. home improvement chain - for several $$ more, brought it home, installed it to make sure the door cutouts I had from the old handlesets worked with these. They did, so then ordered all I needed for the house. These come in very easy to open packaging. All the sets were first-rate, no problems, easy to install. March 10, 2009

Excellent Quality These privacy bed/bath locks were part of a large whole house remodel project. We couldn't find enough handles at our local home depot or lowes foro the entire project and their prices and selection weren't in keeping with the style of the home. We wanted to update, but needed to blend with the remaining door hinges. This was a perfect way to replace cheap brass knobs with quality lever handles. They have an excellent weight which adds a good feel to the door. They assemble reasonably easily. Our experience with buying on the website and the security of using paypal was a plus. I'd definitely use this seller again for price, quality of selection, shipping and overall transaction experience. February 23, 2009

How do you adjust the handle for installation into a 1 and 3/8" thick door?

The Kwikset 730LL should not require any adjustment for installation into a 1 3/8" thick door.

Do you still make the opposite handed for those that dont want the handle curving up?

The handing on this item is reversible. You can install it as a right hand or a left hand. Also, you are albe to have the curve up or down.

What is used to unlock from the outside when excidently locked out

The Kwikset 730LL comes with a small rod that is used to unlock from the exterior.

I feel like the same question is being asked but not answered properly. We all understand that this is reversible BUT.. for those of us ordering the privacy handles NOT pass through when you reverse it does the lock move to the other side of the handle? If that's not the case when you have two doors right next to each other one curve will be up and one curve will be down (unless you want your lock on the outside of your door....)

The handle itself will detach and will be able to be flipped 180 degrees horizontally to avoid situations like that. This product is fully, symetrically reversible.

We have two narrow doors for the one door opening.. we want to use 2 of these sets without the locking mechanism, to just pull doors open. Will these work?

The 730LL will have a privacy lock on it and will come with a latch. The best option would be the dummy version. That model number is 788LL. You will need to choose the model with the correct handing, left or right.

Where can I get an emergency key for this door lever?

The emergency key for Kwikset privacy locksets is Kwikset 81087.

Even though the handle is reversible, will the curve still style the same way for both right and left hand doors? Do we have to take it apart to reconfigure this? It looks like the curve would go up one way and turn down the other if I needed to rotate it to switch doors.

The Kwikset 730LL levers can be detached from the rosettes and guts. Then, you can switch the sides of the levers to make either a right handed leverset or a left handed leverset. Reversing handing will need to be done while it is uninstalled. The curve of the lever can remain the same if you are properly swicthing the handing. More detailed instructions are included in the shipment as well to help.

I have signature series bed and bath lockset and it says its fits 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" for installation how do you adjust it to work for a 1-3/8 thick interior doors

The Kwikset 730LL does not need any adjustment to accommodate the 1-3/8" thick door, the screws are threaded to work with either size thickness of the door.
