Excellent Hardware I have replaced all of the door hardware in a couple of houses and this product is the best I have ever used. The installation method that Kwikset has come up with is the simplest ever for installing the door hardware. Plus the look of this line is simple and classy! Great purchase I bought these dummy door knobs to replace the plastic ones in my mobile home. They look great and I am really pleased with them. The installation instructions need to be revamped. They do not give an explanation as to how to latch the knobs together. It took a bit of figuring out, but I am glad I have them. May 10, 2010

Very Wise Decision I am very pleased with the appearance and service of this door knob. I would and have recommended it to a friend. I made a mistake and under ordered this by 2 items. Kwikset Single Dummy Knobsets I replaced the cheap white knobs on the bifold doors hiding the washer/dryer area off our kitchen. The new knobsets are a beautiful, black matte patina like the rest of the cabinet knobs. The Kwikset Dummy Knobsets were very easy to install and look beautiful! June 23, 2008

If I require a dummy knob on both sides of the door, can I install two dummy knobs on one door?

Yes, two single dummy knobs can be installed on one door.

What is on the opposite side of the knob? Is there circular plate covering the hole if used in a closet?

The Kwikset 788H is a single dummy. There would be nothing on the other side of the door.

Is this both sides of the dummy or just one knob? I need a knob for both sides of my french doors. i don't know if I should be ordering 4 knobs or two??? Thanks
