Kwikset's new Contemporary handleset comes in SmartKey only. This handle is sleek with a nice clean finish to top it off. Be sure to select the Interior Pack as you proceed to cart as it is not included.

  • Key it Yourself: Lock is rekeyable by using the included learn tool in less than 30 seconds without removing the lock from the door.
  • SmartKey cylinders also feature a stainless steel side locking bar, racks and pins for increased strength and security.
  • Interior Pack Sold Separately. Please add this handle to the cart to be see all compatible interior packs.
  • Single Cylinder means the deadbolt is operated by a key from the exterior and by a thumbturn from the interior (interior pack sold separately).

Looks Great Good Quality This product looks great and is very solid. Installation was a piece of cake and it re-keyed to my original key in about 10 seconds. It is important to make sure that you are re-keying to Kwikset for easy re-key. September 30, 2011

What is front projection from door stile so as not to hit storm door when closed

The Kwikset 800TVH-LIP-S extends 2.75" from the door.

What is the length of this set not including the deadbolt?

The distance from the center of the hole to the screw on the bottom is 8 and 13/32". It doesnt list the overall height on this one.

What series/model #'s of Kwikset interior levers will work with Tavaris handleset?

Pretty much all styles will work. Select the options you like and push the add to cart button, you will be prompted to an interior handle configuration page that will allow you to choose your interior handle pack.

Can this be combined with an electronic lock? If so which one?

Yes, if you want to use The Kwikset 800TVH-LIP-S with an electronic deadbolt you can. I would recommend the Kwikset 909CNT.

Can this entry set be dark bronze on the outside and satin crome on the inside?

The Kwikset items are not available to be ordered in split finishes.
