I see someone asked the same question, but I need a little more clarification. You wrote the Kwikset 977VDL is a dummy interior pack designed to accommodate an exterior dummy handleset. It is not a pair. I need a dummy handleset for a French door closet, exterior handles only needed. ( I need 2 handles). Do they come 1 or 2 per package.
A. Thank you for the question. With the Kwikset 977VDL, the 802 is the exterior compatible knob. They come single rather than in a pack of two. Please let me know if you have any other questions. I hope this helps.
Is this the same of purchasing Two Kwikset 788VDL Vedani Single Dummy Door Levers?
A. The Kwikset 977VDL is a dummy interior pack designed to accommodate for an exterior dummy handleset. It is not a pair.
SO now I ma confused. If I have a closet door in a bathroom do I need to order tow Vedani single dummy levers? Also if I want to order a lock set for a bathroom with levers on both sides what do I need. Only the interior needs to be lockable.
A. You would use a privacy lever set for a bathroom that will lock from only the inside. The dummies are just a single lever, so if you do not need a handle on the inside you would just order one.
Like many retailers, Build.com can choose to set its own prices independently. And even though manufacturers require Build.com and other retailers to display a product's "minimum advertised price" (or MAP), the retailer can choose to sell for less than that. But the price must be conveyed in other ways, and each individual manufacturer's MAP policy determines where the price can be seen.
To see the price for this product at Build.com, you'll need to place it in your shopping cart, and maybe even proceed to final checkout. If you're not ready to buy the product, simply remove it from the cart.
Build.com apologizes for any inconvenience. We'd just like to offer you the chance to save extra money while we adhere to manufacturers' MAP policies. Build.com is also working to educate manufacturers on how their policies impact customers and their buying behavior.
