How the autocirc Instant Hot Water System Works :
The autocirc pump is installed under the sink or faucet farthest from the water heater - where hot water usually takes the longest amount of time to arrive.
A built-in temperature sensor automatically turns the autocirc pump on when the water temperature in the hot water supply line cools down to the "ON" temperature set point. This cool water in the hot water supply line is then pumped into the cold water line and back into the water heater.
The autocirc pump turns off automatically when the hot water supply line to the faucet reaches a temperature of 95º F, ensuring the instant availability of shower warm water with maximum temperature hot water only seconds behind. When the pump is automatically turned off by the built-in thermostat, an auto closure device prevents hot or cold water from mixing in either supply line.
Another beneficial feature is that hot water will also be instantly available at all other faucets in the supply line between the water heater and the faucet where the autocirc pump is installed.
Adjustable Thermostat :
There is an adjustable "ON" temperature range from 77°F to 91°F (25°C to 33°C). This built-in temperature sensor will turn the circulator OFF when it reaches 95°F (35°C) and turn the circulator ON when the temperature cools down to the "ON" temperature set point.

Hot water recirculating pumpMy house had problems with cold water at sink faucetss. At one end of the house it took 3 minutes or more to get warm water at the sink or shower. I installed one of the Laing recirculating pumps and soon I had instant warm water to wash and shower. It turns hot soon after. This pump is a tremendous improvement! The pump was easy to install and is virtually silent. If you have problems wasting water waiting for it to get hot, this is your solution. It also warms water in faucets in your water system that are in line with the pump installation. I have had it for several days and couldn't be happier.

Very pleasedWorks as advertised! My wife is very happy, now that she no longer has to wait for hot water at the sink. It does take a few seconds, though, but sitll great. Only one slight downside is you will often get a few seconds of warm water when you turn on the cold, then it turns cold. This is no big deal, and we are well pleased. I recommend the model with the timer, as it shuts the unit off overnight, or any time you don't need it. We have not noticed any change in our utility bill.

Multiple Pumps needed???Since the pump sits at the furthest sink . . . You can't have the pump at the water heater (like the Grundfos Pump) and a temperature control valve at two or three locations. I've got a temperature control valve with my Grundfos system at My Kitchen, upstairs Bathroom and downstairs Bathroom (my house is spread out.)
Anyways, I would need three pumps if I went with this system. . .

I had to return the original pump that we purchased due to a defect in the impeller. Your company made the exchange as easy as pie and my husband and I really enjoy dealing with your company. The new pump is working great. Thank you.

Hot water when neededWorks as advertised...fast delivery. Recommend the one with the timer...allows multiple settings. Depending on how your hot water plumbing was installed you may need more than one unit. I put my unit under the kitchen sink and it provides hot water to the kitchen and guest bath but I'need another unit for the master bath.
