Tiny lamp BIG light! This accent spot light makes the perfect headboard lamp for my bedroom. I read way into the wee hours and my husband has to be out the door by 5am so I was using a bitty book lite which did not cover much of the pages and had to keep changing positions. This clips anywhere and has a strong light.Perhaps too strong. That is why I only gave it 4 stars...it really needs a hi-lo switch for dimming. Attractive design works well with all decor. Made sturdy. Bulbs are readily available at local discount store. Happy purchase. September 30, 2011

cute little light for kids room I bought two of these cute little accent/spot lights. They are very strong and function as good reading lights for my daughter, one by her bed, and another situated under a loft bunk bed for reading/playing also. I am very satisfied. Ideally, I wish it were a dimmer so she could actually use it as a night light. Also, it would be better if the switch to turn on the light were a little easier to manipulate with her 5 year old fingers. But she will grow out of both of those issues. November 29, 2008

What is the diameter and length of the light housing.

The Lite Source LS-119 is 5" in height, 3.5 inches in length and 2 inches in width.

What is the size of this light and is it available with MR11 type halogen bulbs?

The Lite Source LS-119 Spot Light is 5"H x 3-1/2"W and can only use 25W R type incandescent bulbs. The part number for replacement bulbs is LU-25R.
