Wall Washer Sconce from the Nick Collection
Attractive Light with Lovely Glow
We purchased 5 of these - two for our bedroom and 3 for the hallway. They provide good illumination while giving off a lovely soft glow. Definitely bright enough that you can add a dimmer and still get a good light. Although the shades are a frosted white, there is definitely a mild greenish/turquoise color though not as intense as shown in the picture. My husband had no problems installing them though he has electrical experience. Excellent experience buying through Lighting Direct.

I was completely satisfied with this fixture, I bought 2 of them for our master bedroom makeover and it was a hit! Very easy to install, simple and not complicated but when up on the wall with the right accent color, it's a gem!

These scones are exactly what I was looking for. My teen daughter finds them a perfect addition to her modern designed bedroom. We put them on a dimmer switch which makes them even more dramatic.

Attractive and inexpensive
This fixture is simple and attractive in appearance. I live in MA and the product was shipped from CA so it did take the full 9 days to arrive with free shipping. Fortunately, they did arrive in time so that a visiting family member could help me install them.
It really helps if the underlying electrical box is oriented vertically vs horizontally if you're trying to line up more than one on the same plane. You can then use the adjustable plate to make them even. We discovered that of the four fixtures we were replacing, two were horizontal, two vertical. Because these fixtures hang at least 6 inches from the center bolt in the box, and we were replacing fixtures that only hung about 3 inches, some fiddling was necessary to get the right placement on the wall to maintain the right proportions.
My only disappointment is that I cannot yet find an LED bulb that will produce the proper light diffusion - because the bottom of current higher wattage LED bulbs is solid, when an LED light is on, the fixture appears to be disproportionately lit on the right side (rather than brightest at the center). This is not an issue with an incandescent bulb - the light appears to diffuse from the center of the fixture. I haven't tried CFL bulbs because I am using a dimmer, and I don't like the warm up time, buzzing, etc.
The quality of the fixture seems great, especially for the price. Hopefully, we will continue to see solutions designed to be very attractive, functional and energy efficient that will last for decades.
