Can you give me the dimensions of this lights base (where it connects to the ceiling) and tell me if the base is circular, square, or rectangular? Also, is the base centered above the light or offset toward one end?

The Lite Source LS-1846 has a canopy that is round and has a diameter of 5" and is 3/4" in height.

What are the dimensions of the fixture and how far does the fixture hang from the ceiling?

The Lite Source LS-1846 hang 124" from the ceiling to the bottom of the shade. The distance it hangs is adjustable. The dimensions of the fixture are 7" x 65".
