Not Too Shabby
I was suprised at the quality of this light.
Shipping was just ok, I would buy this product again, and I would recommend. After 2 months, and heavy rain, I havent noticed any rust on it yet. Bigger than expected.

Great Outdoor Light
Love the look of this outside light and it was not too big. Like the bevel glass which makes it look more expensive than it is. I purchased it in white and was looking for an accent light at my back door and patio and this light looks wonderful. Highly recommend this light to anyone.

Excellent on line service
Lighting Direct provides an extremely good service. The items were well described and were received in excellent condition. The price was much cheaper than we could have bought locally.
The company also provides excellent customer service by providing the customer with information on delivery and contacting them afterwards to make sure everything was OK. I would certainly use them in the future.

What is the difference betweeen "photo cell" and "dusk to dawn"?
The Maxim MX 1024 does not have photocell which is the same as dusk to dawn.
Would the white be paintable?
The Maxim MX 1024 is paintable, however you would need to make sure you used outdoor paint.
can you tell me if there is glass at the bottom or is it open?
The Maxim MX 1024 is not open at the bottom.
Does this light go with the Maxim MX 1025? We are looking to coordinate 3 lights on the front of our house.
The Maxim MX 1024 is from the same collection as the MX1025 and should style well with the MX1024.
Can the mount be swiveled so screws can go top to bottom?
The Maxim MX 1024 cannot be rotated from the back plate to mount with screws going vertically, as per the manufacturer.
Confused by the conflicting responses in the questions. So, is the bottom open or closed on the Maxim 1024? Thanks!

The Maxim MX 1024 is a part of the Builder Cast Collection. There are no fixtures in the Builders Cast Collection which offer a dusk to dawn feature.

The bottom on this fixture is open. Not sure how you can respond to that if it is not open.
