Great for Indoors Too! This is a dark pewter color, simple, classic that I bought for a guest bath ceiling fixture. What better place to use an outdoor rated fixture than a bathroom - impervious to any moisture. It only uses one 60w bulb but that was all I needed for a basic size full bath as there are lights over the vanity also. June 17, 2009

Does this light have a pull cord in order to turn off and on?

The Maxim MX 1940 is not available with a pull cord.

How do you open it to change the bulb?

The bottom finial unscrews and the glass twists out to expose the bulb.
