very bright addition The only problem was the box it comes in shows the lights installed the opposate way as you show in your web site. Very confusing. I opted to install with fixtures pointing up so the bulbs would not show July 9, 2011

Good for the price The only issue is that none of the globes match in color, out of the 2 fixtures purchased. We've tried to mix and match the glass pieces to match but when the lights are turned on, it's obvious they don't match one another. April 23, 2011

is this made out of 100% aluminum ?

The Maxim MX 8014 is made out of 100% aluminum.

Does this light come with a movable back plate for an off center light box?

The Maxim MX 8014 does not have a movable back plate.

How wide is the 7 light fixture?

The dimensions of the Maxim MX 8016MR are 48"(W) x 7"(H).

The description says marble glass or wilshire glass. What is the difference?

The Maxim MX 8014 with the marble glass is a white swirled glass. The wilshire glass is and off white hue.

The description measurement is 30", but the backplate dimensions are stated as 26-3/8". I need 30" Is 30" or 26-3/8".

The Maxim MX 8014 is 30" on the front side of the backplate on this fixture. However, it is 26 3/8" on the backside of the backplate that attaches to the wall.

What is the backplate dimension on MX8014?

The Maxim MX 8014 has a backplate dimension of 26-3/8" long by 4-3/8" wide.

Can this fixture be fliped 180 degrees? (lights pointing up)
