You get what you pay for Light was fine except much brighter brass than I wanted. It is what I expected for the price as far as quality goes. Light weight material for the back plate so it hangs away from the wall a bit on the top. Other wise It is fine, globes are good and probably worth the total cost of the unit. August 26, 2011

Great purchase Made purchase from unknown company and was a bit skeptical, but had great results. Price was great and when one globe arrived broken, it was very quickly replaced with no questions asked. I would deal with this company again any time I need lighting. August 15, 2011

Great Purchase I had a lot of trouble finding bathroom lighting with bright chrome finish in the stores, especially with four or more bulbs. I like a lot of light. This really works. Very attractive. Delivery was very quick and everything was packed carefully inside. I'm happy! August 8, 2011

Does the electric supply for this unit come from the center, or can the box be off-centered?

The junction box for the Maxim MX 8015 can only be located in the middle of the fixture.

Can this light fixture be used with a dimmer?

The Maxim MX 8015 can be installed with a dimmer if you use incandescent bulbs. It should not be used on a dimmer with Compact Fluorescent bulbs.

What is the height of the plate that goes on the wall for this fixture (not counting the overhang of the globes)?

The backplate measures 5"h.

Can CFL bulbs be used with this fixture?

Yes, the Maxim MX 8015 can use 23W CFL Bulbs, that item is-(S28023-2700-6PK).

What is the overhang of the globes below the backplate?

The Maxim MX 8015 product extension from backplate is 8"
