I bought a victorian house that was built in 1857 and I put two of these in the bathroom, they look awesome and I was told they were easy to install.

Great Bathroom Fixture
This bathroom light is amazing. We were about ready to do recessed lighting because we couldn't find a decent light fixture, the affordable ones are almost all ugly. This fixture is flat black, sleek, and the globes are painted white on the inside, instead of that frosted white glass most have. We also bought 3 pendants for our master bath we liked this so much.
The only warning I have is that it took about a month after I ordered it to arrive, but it was worth the wait.

I have existing electrical boxes I'm working around. Do you know what the measurements are from the box? How high above and how low below the fixture would set?
The Minka Lavery ML 6810 has a backplate dimension of 4-7/8" w 5-5/8" h. From the bottom of the backplate to the bottom is 9-5/8". From the top of the backplate to the top is 7-1/2".

Will this fixture work off of a dimmer switch?
The Minka Lavery ML 6810 will work with a dimmer switch. Check with the bulb you use to make sure it is Dimmable.
Will this fixture work off of a dimmer?
The Minka Lavery ML 6810 can work with most light bulbs, however, depends on the bulb. And dimmers do not work with Florescent lights.
