Would these pendants work with 10 ft. ceilings over a breakfast bar that is counter height?

The Minka Lavery ML 950 is around 5 feet in length. With a standard counter height I would say that this would work perfectly.

I want to hang 2 of these over a 6' kitchen island. Are they too large for that? How tall is the glass bowl?

No, this item only measures 6" wide.

What is the minimum height for this product?

The Minka Lavery ML 950 is 15 1/2" tall with the smallest 6" downrod.

Is the base of this fixture large enough to fit over a recessed opening?

The Minka Lavery ML 950 canopy size is 4" in height and the diameter is 5-1/2". If the recessed opening is smaller then yes.

Can you purchase replacement globes for these pendants? I washed mine recently and the color came off.
