Great Ceiling Fan I purchased three MinkaAire 52" fans. It turned out that I only needed two and I returned the third without any hassles or complications. They matched the decor, they run quietly and provide plenty of air movement. The only problem is the down rod is very short (4") which makes it difficult to attach the canopy and work on the wiring. A 6" rod would be better. August 11, 2011
Good quality for price No frills design but MinkaAire quality at good price. Would prefer medium speed to be a little faster so difference from medium to high was not so pronounced otherwise no complaints. August 1, 2011
Love these fans! We bought two of the white version to go into two adjoining living room spaces and they melt into the ceiling. I HATE those ugly fake wooden ones with lights that take over the whole room. These are big and put out wonderful airflow. Recommend them highly and the Lighting Direct experience. July 18, 2011

Can you suggest a compatible sloped ceiling adapter?

The MinkaAire Contractor 52 is compatible with the MinkaAire MA A245 Sloped Ceiling Adaptor.

I cannot tell from the picture if the downrod comes directly out of the ceiling or if there is a piece that is flush to the ceiling that the downrod attaches to.

The MinkaAire Contractor 52 will feature a ceiling canopy that the downrod will affix to. I hope this helps!

Can we add a wall control for the reverse operation on the F547-swh? We have high ceilings and would like to control the reverse from the ground. I would like to also add light kit K9375 to the fan.

The MinkaAire MA WC210 wall mount will work with the MinkaAire Contractor 52

This fan can be installed with 4 blades?

Yes this fan will work with universal light kits.

Yes, you will need to order the RC223.

Can I get the light kit and just lighter colored blades for F568 Orb Supra 52

You can order the light kit and the blades separate from the fan if that is what you need.

Can the MinkaAire Contractor 52 4 or 5 Blade 52" Energy Star Ceiling Fan be used outdoors?

The MinkaAire Contractor 52 is only meant for indoor applications.

The MinkaAire Contractor 52 is compatible with particular wall switches. Models MinkaAire WC105, WC106, WC213, and WC223.

The height with the 4" rod measures 11 3/8"h
