Looks nice, terrible air flow Looking at the specs this thing seems like it would move a lot of air, unfortunately no. I just installed two of these fans on my backyard patio, in the high setting you can barely even feel a breeze. I talked with Minka and they suggested I wire them direct to test the control module. With direct 120VAC they do spin a bit faster but still not nearly good enough. The problem I now see is that the blade design (which looks impresive) is more decrotive than functional, that coupled with the relatively low max RPM 135, give you a very poor performing fan. If you want it mainly for decoration then you will be happy. However if you want a fan that looks good and actually provides a reasonable air flow to keep you cool on those hot days, then look elsewhere. July 4, 2008
