Beautiful Fan

Is there the option to NOT use the light kit with this fan?
Thank you for your question. The MinkaAire Napoli is only available with the light-kit. The remote control that it comes with, allows you to control the light and fan singly from another.
Two questions. Is this a good brand vs. Hunter and MonteCarlo? Also, answers to previously asked questions appear to contradict. Will this operate with a handheld remote?
Thank you for your questions. MinkaAire is top three, with Hunter and MonteCarlo. The people I polled would rank them in that order. The MinkaAire Napoli works with the RC212.

The MinkaAire Napoli with a 3 1/2" down rod will reach 16.5" from the ceiling.
what is the maximum wattage bulb for this fan?
The Minka Aire Napoli uses 2 50w Mini-can Halogen Bulbs (Included).
I need the same fan in 50". Does it come in that size?

The MinkaAire Napoli can only be used with the light kit that it comes with.

What size is the motor?
The size of the motor in the MinkaAire Napoli is 188 mm x 25 mm.
Will the fan work with a handheld remote control? And can the light work with a dimmer. Mine is new construction and will be installed by a professional electrician.
Thank you for your inquiry. The MinkaAire Napoli is compatible with the RC212 which is a dimmer and fan remote control. RC212 is available for purchase separately. It can be used in conjunction with the WC212, which comes with the Napoli.
Can a 6-foot long downrod be used with this fan? If so, is it available in a matching finish? And will a 6-foot download increase the likelihood of the fan wobbling? (Our ceilings are 18' high).
The MinkaAire Napoli has multiple down rod options, which you will see (and choose from) once you select your finish and click add to cart. You can choose from 12", 18", 24", 48", and 72" down rods.
Can the Minka Aire Napoli be used as a flush mount?
The MinkaAire Napoli can only be mounted as a semi flush.
do they have other light fixtures or pendant light for over a bar to match?

Does this fan have and energy star rating?
The MinkaAire Napoli is not Energy Star rated.
Is there anyway to change the bulbs kit? We found this lighting expensive and not bright enough for the room
The MinkaAire Napoli light kit cannot be rewired with a new light kit.
Will the MinkaAire handheld remote RC212 or RC210 work with this fan? I already have the fan and want to be able to operate it from both the wall remote and hand remote.
The MinkaAire Napoli wall control has an LED light on the top of it. If it is red, you'll need to order the RC210, if green, order the RC212.
