Can this fan be a ceiling mount? If so, what is the distance from the ceiling to the bottom of the light kit?

A. This cannot be installed as a flush mount.

i assume the picture shown is withOUT the light. if so, i like it that way and do NOT want the light option. is this sold without the light?

A. The MinkaAire Shangri-La comes with the light but you do not need to use it. It is not sold without the light.

Can you gt this with a remote?

A. The MinkaAire Shangri-La is only compatible with a wall control and can't be used with a remote control unfortunately.
