Moen 3510 Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Moentrol recommended Our contractor recommended Moentrol in our first bathroom installation 31 years ago. We've installed them in every project since then. Can't imagine why anyone would install anything else. Over the years, we've had to replace the cartridge once, because our hard water gummed it up..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Moen 3510 (Valve): Rough In 1/2 Inch The shut off value (where handle attaches) was defective on the unit I received. The Moen Company sent a replacement part the very next day and the unit is working perfectly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I will not order from you again The part that was shipped to me had obviously been returned by someone else. There was teflon tape on it and was missing parts. Not what I want when I pay top dollar for parts.

  • What is the difference between the 3510 valve, the 3520 valve and the 3570 valve?

    A. The Moen 3510 does not have any built in shut offs and is a threaded connection. The other two are both copper to copper saudering connection. The difference between the 3570 and the 3520 are that the 3570 has built in shut offs and the 3520 does not. The built in shut offs allow you to cut off the flow of water at the valve instead of having to turn off the entire water to your house in case there is a leak.

  • the 3510 valve recommends a booster pump. What is this and why would I need it?

    A. The Moen 3510 recommends and optional booster pump for use in low pressure installations. This is not a required item, but is helpful for older homes or when installing on upper floors. This is simply an auxiliary pump to increase water pressure, which is useful in installations with multiple functions such as body sprays, hand showers, multiple shower heads, etc. If your installation location has good water pressure you will be fine without the booster pump.

  • What is the gpm rating for this valve?

    A. The Moen 3510 can do 6.5gpm at 60 psi.

  • Does it have Moentrol temperature memory?

    A.

The Moen 3510 is a Moentrol valve, which means it has temperature memory when you shut the water off, and it allows you to control the volume of the water. You can pull the knob out or push it in to control the pressure of the water flow.

  • What is the correct handle set from the 90-degree collection fot the Moen 3510 1/2" IPS (Iron Pipe Size Threaded) Moentrol Rough-In

    A.

The Moen 3510 can be used with the TS3711 from the 90 Degree collection.
