Purchased a few MOEN products to match my SANTEC products and faucet for my bathroom remodel. These products were to match the faucet that was purchased locally. The MOEN chroming is very heavy. and most local plumbing houses do not cary all entire product line. Fast shipping from Faucet Direct - Will be back - have 2 more bathrooms to remodel. This was also to match the MOEN shower conversion kit and matches perfectly. It is a two piece item with the escutcion sliding on first and then the faucet. The toughest part is keeping it all tight so it is tight to the wall. April 20, 2011

Economical Tub Spout My wife wanted polished nickle fixtures. We bought the trim kits for converting our existing shower fixtures but we needed a matching tub spout. Unfortunately, we did not have a threaded MPT fitting on the end of the stub that comes out of the wall. This item worked perfect as it is a slip-on o- ring mount with a set screw.Just make sure you order the tub spout with a shower diverter if you need one. October 19, 2009

dysfunctional the o ring functions as though it were for another product. It needs to allow the stem to stay up before the water is turned on or doesn't divert for a shower. I was adjusting it every few days and now it doesn't work at all. November 26, 2008

Can we get this without the shower diverter to use as a standard tub fill?

The Moen 3808 closest to the Moen 3804 Non Diverter Tub Spout.

I have a low pressure shower and need the diverter on the spout to send all the water out of the shower head and not drip from the spigot causing a lack of pressure at the shower head? Will this one positively close the tub spigot?

The Moen 3808 is designed with the diverter to send the water straight to the showerhead. You shouldn't be losing water or for it to leak out the diverter. There is a O ring that is inside the unit that creates the suction so that the water should not leak. But after time this o ring does wear down which eventually can cause a leak. Under that circumstance Moen does replace parts that are needed to repair a unit under normal wear and tear with their warranty policy.

I purchased the Moen T2112, but realized I needed a spout. Therefore, I would like to add the Moen 3808. Will that work or do I need to purchase additional accessories?

The Moen 3808 will work with the T2112 as long as it is not installed yet due to the ports on the valve.

Does this spout come with a adapter for a threaded pipe installation?

The Moen 3808 is designed with a 1/2" copper slip fit.
