The distance from the wall, to the end of the pipe, is 3-3/4". Will this fit?

The Moen 3931 will fit a pipe with a max length of 3" and min of 1-1/2".

Is the 1/2" slip fit for copper pipe (5/8" OD) or schedule 40 (.840" OD)?

Good Afternoon, It is for use with 1/2" inside diameter copper pipe. I am not sure what the outside diameter would be. thank you
