Single Handle Centerset Bathroom Faucet from the Chateau Collection
Polished brass flakes and discolors extensively
I have three (3) of this style faucet in my home and everyone of them look exactly alike with the gold finish looking like I got them from a junk heap. I have not had any other problems with this particuliar faucet style but they just look horrible. There is so much discoloration and peeling of this gold finish that I am ashamed for anyone else to see them. I must stay with the polished brass since every thing else in my home is brass. Now, I am looking to replace all of these faucets but hate to buy anymore of this style with it being polished brass. I don't know what to do.

Good Quality - One Flaw
Have Moen fixtures in our home for 18 years. Two needed replacing in master bath. Complemented well. Only "flaw" is the drain stopper doesn't fit snug in drain so when water is filled in the bowl, it seeps out (while shaving, for example). I wrote to Moen and their response was "it was designed that way." Not happy with that portion of the faucet package.

I purchased three of these in polished brass to replace some very old Moen faucets in my bathrooms. The old faucets worked fine, but the finish deteriorated (after about 20 years). Delivery of the new faucets was super fast and the installation of the faucets and the drain pipes was very easy. I like the new, rounded styling and Moen made some improvements in the faucet gasket.

I purhased the Moen 4621 faucet for my hallway bathroom . I've searched for a gold colored faucet that was attractive and I have been unsuccessful. When I saw this one it caught my eye. I put the faucet in myself and was amazed how easy it was. The instructions Moen provided were step by step and simplified. I have received numerous compliments on its appearance. Thank you again.

Good old Moen, but the stopper...
Buttery smooth operation, perfect finish -- just like Moen has always been.
On the neative side:
The (included) sink stopper is in stark contrast to the quality of the faucet itself; thin sheet metal, too light to seal properly; basically just a decoration. In the 'good old days' they used to be solid brass. At least provide them with a rubber seal, like Delta does...

Best bathroom faucet ever
I have loved this faucet style and beautiful looks so much, this is the third time I have bought it. If only the finish were more durable, it would be perfect. Be careful of harsh cleaners. It stays gorgeous for several years and with the low price on Faucet direct, a brand new faucet like this is very affordable. Thanks.

Learn from me.Look at Patterns Carefully
Good for replacing an existing like item, which is what I did. However, the red & blue colors on it greatly diminished its very attractive original star like design pattern that had no red & blue. From the online photo I did not realize there was red & blue on it. I know I would not have bought this faucet (I needed three identical) had I clearly seen the colors in it. Faucets themselves work fine - smooth use of the handles. Easy shape to grasp & adjust the water temperature. Of the three faucet sets one had a short stopper & doesn't open the drain sufficiently but I think that can be corrected easily. The other two stoppers are fine. To be fair to FD and the consumers reading this, I would recommend Moen products, but not this particular faucet pattern ONLY because of the red & blue color on it which is why I gave it only 3 stars & why I don't recommend it. I give 5 stars for product quality & recommend Moen as a brand.

Our experience with Faucet Direct couldn't have been better. The faucet we purchased was in stock, and delivered sooner than expected. We will definitely shop here again, they have a large variety to choose from and the site is easy to navigate and use. The product was well packaged and everything needed was in the package. Good job guys.

Great Moen Product
I have used this faucet in my own home. My customer wanted an exact replacement. With the move to nickel plated fixtures I was not to suprised that the customer still wanted to stay with polished brass. It is still my preference as it is warmer than nickel. This product has a single cartridge valve which is still preferred by my company.

This product is designed to be installed using basic mechanics tools. Most of the work can be done topside and below the bowl while in the cabinet. No work has to be done way up high behind the bowl using special plumber's tools.
