great looking faucet
Not wanting a bright brass or chrome fixture, was looking for brushed/antique brass single handle faucet (hard to find). This fits the bill perfectly; easy to install and lever handle works smoothly. Only issue (very minor) is that the plastic wrench provided to install the faucet base to the sink cracks easily and doesn't tighten fixture sufficiently; easily remedied by use of slip lock wrench as long as the fixture is put on new sink. A reinstall could be a problem.

The look I wanted
I really like the looks of the faucet, but I preferred the oiled bronze top rather than the white one. The oiled bronze is in the kit, but when you remove the white top and put on the bronze one, it doesn't go all the way down to the rest of the faucet and leaves a gap for dirt of about 1/8th of and inch. The plumber who installed the fixtures said that there must be some part missing.

Smooth Operator
Bought 3 of these - 2 for my kids bathroom and one for the guest bathroom. They operate very smoothly - the water flow is nice and steady, and the lever turns like butter. It looks very sophisticated - the design is traditional but looks gorgeous both in my modern kids bathroom and the traditional guest bathroom. It is a nice substantial size without being bulky.

Great Purchase
Ordered this faucet and matching collection for our bath remodel. Everything turned out fantastic. Our plumber was skeptical of ordering everything online when the prices were so much lower than his supplier. Even he was surprised how fast we received our order and that it included everything we needed.

Good faucet - good deal too
This faucet was exactly what I expected. All parts there, packaged nicely, with relitively quick and free delivery. Also, FaucetDirect offered on-line matching accessories and access to technical information (dimentions - heights of handle, and water spout, hole diameter, etc.). Local retailers generally did not. I needed the extension kit (Moen A1616) for "bowl sink" application to raise the height of the spout to clear the high lip on "bowl sink," see photo.

Great Faucet - nice brown color
Love the color of this faucet, it's not as dark as some other oil rubbed bronze finishes. I like the white cap that comes on the faucet, but appreciate the fact that Moen sends another cap that matches the faucet.
The faucet looks and operates well, nice heavy feel to it. Would recommend it.

Is there an optional top (instead of the white) for this faucet?
The Moen 6102 has a top that will come in the same finish that you select the faucet in. It will not be a white cap for the top.
My understanding is that the installation kit is needed only when the surface on which it is to be installed is thicker than a normal countertop. Is this correst?
That is correct, the installation kit is for a thick deck.
The supply lines on this faucet are too long. Can it be purchased with shorter lines?
Unfortunately the Moen 6102 does not come with shorter supply lines, but your plumber should be able to shorten the existing ones.
Does this faucet have a deck plate available?
This item will include the optional 3 hole deck plate, also known as the escutcheon plate.
how high is the kingsley?
The Moen 6102 is 8-1/2" high.
why do I need the optional instalation kit?
The Moen A1616 is made for Thick Decks (granite or like sized decks)
How do I take the handle off?
The Moen has a set screw on the back of the handle, it is covered by a cap, you can remove it, unscrew, and that will allow you to lift the handle.
