Quick and efficient
During kitchen remodel I delayed faucet decision. All of a sudden I was faced with a deadline. Checked out FaucetDirect and with express mailing, they could make the deadline. WOW.... It even arrived a day quicker than anticipated.
I had to relearn how to use the the faucet handle. At first it seemed awkward, but even this old guy is retrainable and I really enjoy the operation now. Love the faucet and it looks great

Good for the money
This is a very nice looking, well built faucet for the money. The only reason I give it four stars instead of five is because when you pull the faucet out to use it in your hand it doesn't like to go all the way back into the shell--it doesn't lock back into place which would be nice.

Love this faucet!
My boyfriend installed this faucet today and it looks great! The faucet is very good quality and operates with ease. It completes our new kitchen well and I am SO happy I didn't settle for an off the shelf model at Home Depot.

My stainless sink is 3 hole. Does this come with the 3 hole adaptor plate?
Yes, the Moen 7594 can be used in a 3 hole sink, and it comes with the plate to cover them included.
What is the required distance between the faucet and the wall?
The Moen 7594 needs a minimum clearance of 3" from the wall to the center of the base of the faucet.
Are there any plastic parts on the outside of the faucet, and is there a matching soap dispenser?
The Moen 7594, as well as the majority of the sprayers manufactured today, have both metal and plastic parts to avoid corrosion, and for safety purposes. The Moen 3944 soap dispenser should match this faucet nicely.
Do you have to continue to press a button to keep it on spray mode or can it be hands-free on spray?
The Moen 7594 is is a hands free spray application.
Does this come with a matching filtered water dispenser?
The Moen 7594 is in the Arbor Collection. The only filtration system by Moen is the 77200, which isn't a direct match but available in the same colors! The Arbor design compliments the Aquasuite with it's curves.
Does this model use a ceramic disc?
The Moen 7594 is going to have the ceramic Duralast disc.
Is the classic stainless a brushed finish?
The Moen 7594 in Classic Stainless is a Brushed finished.

The Moen 7594 is 15-1/2" in total height. The spout height is 8-1/4". The spout reach is 7-7/8".
What is the difference between the Moen CA7594 and the moen 7594?
The Moen CA7594 is the Low Lead equivalent of the Moen 7594, meaning that it is compliant with California and Vermont Low Lead laws.
Does this come with all the necessary parts to install?
The Moen 7594 does come with everything that you will need to install.
What do the terms "spout reach", and "width" mean? I just installed a large sink, and I need a faucet whose spout will reach the center.
Spout reach is measured from the center on the installation hole, and 'width' is the width of the escutcheon.

The Moen 7594 has the reflex pulldown system which does use a spring to retract the hose.
What is the difference between the Moen 7594 Spot Resist Stainless and the Classic Stainless?
The Moen 7594 spot resist stainless finish resists hard water spots from your water. The classic stainless will not resist spots.

The soap dispensers that Moen has to offer are the Moen 3944, 3942 and 3916.
Does this come in a left side handle version?
The handle of the Moen 7594 can be mounted on the right or left side.
Does this faucet require a plate or can you mount right onto granite top ? I do not want to have to use a plate.
The Moen 7594 does include the escutcheon plate, but you are not required to use it.

Moen products are typically manufactured in plants located in New Bern, N.C., Pine Grove, Pa., and China. Most parts come from China and then are assembled in the US.
Is the pull down sprayer made of plastic or some kind of heavier material?
Due to the quick permeation of heat through metal, most manufacturers of pullout faucets make the sprayer of a heavy-duty plastic. I hope this answers your question.
Is the pull out hose braided stainless or some other material?
The pull out hose for the Moen 7594 is a 68" braided hose.
Is the pull-out faucet made from metal or plastic?
The Moen 7594's spray head will be a hard plastic that matches the metal finish. The spray head is made of plastic because metal would get too hot, when spraying hot water for any length of time.
Is there a matching hot water dispenser?
The Moen 7594 does not, at this time, have a hot water dispenser that matches. Moen only has the cold water dispenser right not and they are the Aquasuite collection.
is this low lead compliant
Yes the Moen 7594 is low lead.
The specs mention a cartridge type 1255, what is this and does it need to be replaced periodically?
The Moen 7594 does use the 1255 cartridge and these are usually the culprit of heavy faucets and need to be replaced.

The Moen 7594 is going to have a stainless steel 68" retractable hose.
Can the handle be mounted in the center under the faucet
The Moen 7594 has 360 degree rotating spout provides ability to install handle on either side. You could install it with the handle mounted in the center, but the spout reach is 7.87" and the lever when extended reaches out 5.5" from the center of the faucet, so it may end up getting in the way.
Do you have a soap dispenser that goes along with this faucet in CSL finish?
Moen does not have a dispenser within the Arbor collection, however the Moen 3942 will work and is available in the Classic Stainless Steel Finish.
Does this faucet have a pause button? Does it have a spray and stream function?
Moen 7594 has spray and stream functions, controlled by a button on the underside with convenient pause feature.

Yes, the Moen 7594 will swivel.

I'm looking to replace my kitchen faucet. I thought what I current have is called brush nickel, but I don't see anything like that. Is chrome the same as brushed nickel? I want a dull finish.
Finishes can vary depending on the manufacturer. But a chrome finish will be a bright silver finish. If you are looking for a dull finish it sounds like brushed nickel is what you are looking for. I would try and see what manufacturer made your faucet and then go from there. But I do believe a brushed nickel is what you want.
Is the button durable and warranted? Is there a similar faucet without rubber button to change spray to stream?
The Moen 7594 button is durable and under a lifetime warranty. Most pull-out faucets are designed with a rubber button for flexibility.

The Moen 7594 cartridge stem is made from brass. This is a showroom quality faucet and not builder grade.

Doug, There is not color difference between the two. Just simply that if you have hard water, the Spot resistance would be ideal for you as it repels hard water stains.
When in hands-free spray mode when you turn it off, when you turn it back on, will it still be in spray mode or go back to regular stream?
The Moen 7594 will reset when you turn the water flow off.
Can I use this faucet with my bar sink?
The Moen 7594 can be used with a bar sink but it's not recommended.
The recommended bar faucet in the Arbor collection is the Moen 5995.
Is the cartridge 1255 similar to a washer and how often does it need to be replaced?
