Will never buy Moen again
Faucet started dripping after 5 years of use. In addition to the cartridges @ $20 each, I had to buy a poorly designed special tool to remove and replace the cartridge retaining ring. Tool stripped the cheap plastic ears off the cartridge retaining ring. Result: $150 for a plumber to tell me i had to replace the faucet. All of the internal valve parts are plastic. Won't ever buy another Moen product. Plumber said Moen is the last faucet he would recommend to someone.

Really nice faucet
The plumbers put it in so I can't say how easy the install was but it works well and looks beautiful. The only thing I didn't like was that I had to pay extra for the handles. It should come with the same finish as the faucet and only if you want a different finish pay extra.

Nice quality
I bought this particular product because the reach was longer than most other options and my contractor recommended it because I have dual sinks. I wouldn't have thought of that issue if he hadn't had mentioned it to me. The quality and style of the product are very good. According to my contractors though who installed it, the directions didn't match the equipment which were included. Luckily, they got it to work anyway.

The product ordered was delivered very quickly. The installation was easy. The faucet looks good, works well, and is great addition to my kitchen.

A nicely designed Faucet
I like a high arc faucet in a kitched just to be able to get large pots and buckets underneath to be able to fill or clean them more easily. This faucet has a pleasing design and just plain looked smoother and more graceful to my eye than the others that were available. It has the quality that I have come to expect from Moen products. Once installed it functions perfectly and operates smoothly. You may pay more for a Moen but, in this case, you get what you pay for. I have yet to be disappointed in a Moen purchase.

The Moen 7786 does have plastic parts.
How do I remove the spout?
The spout for the Moen 7786 is connected with a lock nut beneath the counter.
Is there a thick deck install kit available for this faucet?
The Moen 7786 is not available with the thick deck install kit but will mount at a max thickness of 2 1/4".
what is the difference between the duralast cartridge and the 1224?
The Moen 7786 only can use the 1224. The Duralast is only for single handle faucets.

The Moen 7786 does not include the handles. The 8000 series includes the handles. This handle is in the 7000 series. You will have to purchase the handles separately.
