Attractive, Solidly-built set I've had this installed for about two weeks now and I'm very pleased with it. It is very elegant and fits the granite counter tops well (I got the polished chrome set) and the sprayer works well enough for such dicey things as they are. This is a very solid unit and it feels good in the hands when you use it. Add to that the good deal you get on this website, and you have nothing to lose! March 21, 2010

is this product all stainless steel. I am tired of plastic

The Moen 7905 does have some "plastic" parts. Majority of products these days are a nylon component that is similar to plastic. The parts that would be this material are the cartridge, the spout hub, and internal sprayer functions. The actual spout, escutcheon and handles, etc would all be metal. Moen has a lifetime warranty, if anything breaks down they will replace it.

Can this be installed without the deckplate (escutcheon)?

No, the escutcheon on the Moen 7905 faucet is integrated into the design so it cannot be installed without it.

Is this product all stainless steel >>I am tired of plastic that looks like stainless steel
