Can I mix this product with a Delta shower head and valve?
A. As long as you are attaching the Moen A501 Body Spray to a 1/2" wall pipe, it should fit, regardless of brand.
Can the water pressure be adjusted on this product?
A. The water pressure can not be adjusted on this product. However, turning your water level lower or higher from your shower trim handles should fix this problem.
Can these be turned off without a seperate valve?
A. The Moen A501 need a separate valve to turn them on of off.
How far out from the spray does the water come out? I am trying to position the showerhead so that it cam fall over someone while the sprays touch them as well.
A. The Moen A501 extends out 2-1/2".
What additional parts do I need to purchase for installation? I assume I need an on/off valve?
A. To add the Moen A501 adjustable body sprays to a current shower system you would need a thermostatic valve and volume control for each function you have or a diverter to control the water flow.
I want to use this with Moen T2153 Single Handle Posi-Temp Pressure Balanced Tub and Shower Trim with Single Function Showerhead from the Brantford Collection what other valves trims kits etc do I need to complete my system
A. The Moen A501 is an Adjustable Body Spray. You would need to install a transfer valve (Moen 3372). This transfer valve would be used with the Moen T4171 Trim or the Moen 8360 Trim.
Is there a probem with having only two body sprays with the valve system?
A. No, three is just a standard number for body sprays but you not need to have three.
What is the flow rate?
A. Thank you for your question! The Moen A501 operates at 1.75 gpm.
how can I make this flow more water; is there a restrictor that can be removed? 1.75gpm is not powerful enough.
A. I'm very sorry, but we can not suggest that you change or alter a product.
Is this considered a replacement piece, or will the set screw be included?
A. The Moen A501 is not a replacement part and will come with all necessary installation pieces. I hope this helps!
What valve is required to install these.
A. The Moen A501 does not require a separate rough in valve. It installs on a 1/2" NPT Supply Pipe coming out of the wall of between 1/2" to 5/8" projection.
Does it only shoot straight out or can it be angled?
The Moen A501 is an adjustable body spray, so it can be angled.
Like many retailers, Build.com can choose to set its own prices independently. And even though manufacturers require Build.com and other retailers to display a product's "minimum advertised price" (or MAP), the retailer can choose to sell for less than that. But the price must be conveyed in other ways, and each individual manufacturer's MAP policy determines where the price can be seen.
To see the price for this product at Build.com, you'll need to place it in your shopping cart, and maybe even proceed to final checkout. If you're not ready to buy the product, simply remove it from the cart.
Build.com apologizes for any inconvenience. We'd just like to offer you the chance to save extra money while we adhere to manufacturers' MAP policies. Build.com is also working to educate manufacturers on how their policies impact customers and their buying behavior.
