Does the slide bar come with the shower head or purchase separately?
A. The Moen DN8001 includes the shower head and the hose. A slide bar would need to be purchased seperately as well as a wall supply elbow.
I'm looking at this for elderly parent who has a 1950's shower. Can this hose just be attached to that shower arm? I would also expect to buy a slide bar to hold for normal shower use. please confirm all the pieces/parts I would need.
A. The Moen DN8001 will attach to your shower arm via a shower hose that is included. We suggest a slide bar holder, the Moen DN8005, which will secure the Hand Shower to a slide bar if you choose to install one. For a slide bar we suggest the Kingston Brass KX2521SG Slide Bar that has a Hand Shower Holder and a Soap Dish for a very good price.
Does it have a pulsating massage?
A. Thank you for your question the Moen DN8001 is going to have standard needle spray.
Can you turn the water on and off right at the shower head and if so how hard is it.
A. The Moen DN8001 does not turn on and off directly at the shower head.
is this just the hose and shower head? or does it have the part that screws onto the shower pipe?
A. The Moen DN8001 does include a hose, but is made to mount on a slide bar.

Like many retailers, Build.com can choose to set its own prices independently. And even though manufacturers require Build.com and other retailers to display a product's "minimum advertised price" (or MAP), the retailer can choose to sell for less than that. But the price must be conveyed in other ways, and each individual manufacturer's MAP policy determines where the price can be seen.
To see the price for this product at Build.com, you'll need to place it in your shopping cart, and maybe even proceed to final checkout. If you're not ready to buy the product, simply remove it from the cart.
Build.com apologizes for any inconvenience. We'd just like to offer you the chance to save extra money while we adhere to manufacturers' MAP policies. Build.com is also working to educate manufacturers on how their policies impact customers and their buying behavior.
