How much weight will the shelves hold?

What is the thickness of the tempered glass?

The Moen DN8490 is going to have glass of 1/4".

Is there anything similar available in a 10 or 12" shelf?

There are various brands that do make a deeper shelf for your application. On our sites please enter in "Glass Shelf" and other options will be listed.

Is this polished chrome? I want to make sure its shiny and not dull.

The chrome on the Moen DN8490 Glass Shelf is a shinny, polished chrome.

Can it be hung on a tiled wall of a shower ?

The Moen DN8490 is not recommended to be installed in a shower.

If the glass cracks or breaks can a glass/mirror repair house replace it? The real question is: how is the glass adhered to the chrome brackets?
