Built-in temperature limit stops allow you to control how far the handle rotates, in effect controlling the range of water temperature. Somewhat Disapointed Purchased item to replace older Chauteu Series. The holes in the Escutheon did not line up with the original valve. I needed a plumber to sweat in new valve($200 cost) Not happy about this. On the positive side the appearance is very nice. April 29, 2011

Keeps leaking I bought this Moen faucet based on: 1. Good review ratings 2 US made 3 availability of parts at local stores After the installation, the faucet leaked. Moen sent me another cartridge. It worked for about a month. Now it is dripping again. Not very happy !!! I give 2 stars, at least Moen responses to the problem. April 18, 2011

Does this come with the tub/shower drain?

The Moen L2353 does not come with a tub/shower drain. The drain kit that I recommend is the Moen T90331.

water temperature control and how do you adjust

The Moen L2353 is controlled by the middle diverter by turning it left or right for hot and cold, to turn it on you simply turn the handle towards you.

Can I just purchaes the center piece in polish brass. I do not need the spout or showere head.

The Moen L2353 trim plate only is part number Moen TL181. This would give you the shower trim plate and handle. Then you would need to add the valve Moen 2570 if you don't already have it.

Is this tub valve set up for sweated copper connections?

Yes, the Moen L2353 tub and shower set is for 1/2" copper connections.

What kind of valve is included?

The Moen L2353 comes with a 1/2" copper sweat in valve.
