Is this type of single handle going to hold up over time with everyday use?

The Moen S711 is designed to be a everyday use faucet. Moen does have a lifetime warranty of their faucets as well.

Can I get a soap dispenser with this?

Yes, the Moen S711 would best match the Moen 3916 soap dispenser.

I see from the reply below the faucet swivels, does it swivel 360 degrees?

The Moen S711 swivels 180 degrees.

Is the side sprayer made of metal or plastic?

Do I need to order a valve with this faucet?

The Moen S711 is set to install as is. No other items are necessary.

I heard you need an extra valve with a 8 inch spread. Is that included?

The Moen S711 comes with the necessary valve for 8 inch spread.

Can you add water filter to fit a 4th hole?

Unfortunately the S711 does not have a matching water filter and is not recommended for use with one.
