Posi-Temp® Valve: A pressure balancing valve that maintains water temperature within 3° F. Built-in temperature limit stops allow you to control how far the handle rotates, in effect controlling the range of water temperature. The Posi-Temp® offers the best water flow available for any comparable valve.

Tub/Shower Trim Kit Nice product - Moen's oil rubbed bronze finish in this particular line (Eva Collection) is a dark brown with very little red or black, which other oil rubbed bronze finishes often contain. Overall, a quality product. Note: It would be nice if Moen would produce a matching tub trip lever and drain cover trim kit. July 14, 2011

Looks great I chose the Moen T2133 from the Eva series to match all my other accessories. It does look great but I was disappointed with the limited valve options for the Eva; I would have preferred the moen trol valve that would allow you to regulate the pressure that is offered in some of the other series. I chose to go for the coordinating look with the Eva series. I am pleased with the quality of the product itself and love the overall look in the bathroom! July 7, 2011

NCupdate Looks good, works easily, good quality. I was disappointed to discover there is no volume control. Turn to the far right (cold) for off, then to the left for hot. Period. No volume adjustment. This is a minor thing. December 31, 2010

Neutral Overall, I've been a big fan of Moen for many years. The tub/shower set works great. My only complaints are that the faucet is pretty unsubstantial-it replaces a cast brass faucet, so there's quite a bit of difference. The faucet mounting mechanism seems to be a bit less stable and kind of cheap feeling. The ordering experience from Faucets Direct was fun (the woman had a great sense of humor), and delivery was fast. I only chose 3 stars because I had to pick something. I would actually tell a friend the pros and cons, but neither recommend or not. August 28, 2010

Nice looking products in the Eva Series I have this shower kit along other items from the Eva series in chrome and I am very happy with my purchase. The shower kit is sleek and modern. The shower handle with the recommended valve allows me to adjust the water to the exact temperature that I want. Love it! We received fast service from FaucetDirect and we have had no problems at all with this shower kit. June 21, 2010

Can the Moen T2133 be used to replace a generic faucet of unknown brand. We are not replacing tile so we can not change out interior fittings.

In order for the faucet to work properly you will need the accompaning rough in valve.

Can the showerhead be replaced with the commercial handshower #52715?

To replace the shower head with the 52715, the entire piece, the shower arm, shower head, and flange will have to be removed and the wall supply elbow of the 52715 would be plumbed to the piping.

I am putting together an order and I just put this item in my cart. I don't know which rough in valve I require? The plumber is using pex tubing.

The Moen T2133 uses the 2510 for IPS and the 2520 for CXC connections.

Water is quite expensive in this area and in te interest of conserving we would like to purchase a low flow shoer head. There is nothing about this in the specifications.

The Moen T2133 is a low flow shower head at 2.5 GPM. If you have any other questions please call 800-375-3403 x725 for Jordan. I hope this helps.

what tub waste would match this in BN?

Any Moen tub waste would match their brushed nickel. Here are a couple examples 90480 and 90410. You can go with another manufacturers Brushed Nickel but I can not gaurentee that it will match perfectly. Brushed Nickel is however a finish that is fairly the same with all manufacturers. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

I am also installing a handheld shower fixture to my bath shower. What part do I need to buy to divert water from the main shower to the hand held?

The Moen Eva collection does not offer an in-wall diverter to go with the system. This means you'll need to use a shower arm diverter such as the model A720. However, this will not allow you to operate both functions at once. I hope this helps!

Is a drain pop-up and trim included?

The Moen T2133 does not include the tub waste.

Is this model a slip fit spout?

The Moen T2133 uses a slip fit spout connection.

We previously had moen chateau in our shower. Would this item fit as a replacement?

The Moen T2133 can replace the chateau if it has a posi-temp valve.

What is posi-temp?

Posi-Temp is a marketing name for Moen's temperature control for their shower faucets and it refers to their models that simply rotate in order for you to adjust the temperature of the water. It does include: A pressure-balanced system that maintains water temperature within ±3°F, built-in temperature limit stops which allow you to control how far the handle rotates, therefore, controlling the range of water temperature, and meets pressure-balancing safety codes.

I am putting in an order and I put this item in my cart. I do not know what rough in valve to order. The plumber is using pex tubing.

The Moen T2133 will use the 62360 in the case of a PEX application.

What trim kits can I use with a 3570 rough in valve?

The Moen T2133 will work with the trim kits that are Moentrol trims. Trims like the T3112 or the T2606.
