Wish it threaded on
Nice unit. Wish the water spout threaded onto the copper piping but it didn't. Otherwise very nice.

Solid product and retailer
I recently ordered fixtures from two different vendors and the total experience was a nightmare starting with the products themselves and then of course with their policies of returning the product. In one instance they would not accept a return, period. Faucet Direct delivered what they promised, a great product, good price and timely delivery. My only regret is I didn't start out at their website. I highly recommend Faucet Direct without a hesitation.

Great purchase!
These faucets are just as you see in the picture. They were easy to install and the color is very nice. I chose the oil rubbed bronze and it matches all of my other faucets.

Flimsy
The faucet looks great, however, it installs on a PVC pipe, and has plastic components, and is flimsy as a result.

I should have done my homework !
The set is beautiful, exactly what I was looking for, and at the best price around. I should have done my homework, however, because the pieces did not install easily in our shower w/our existing plumbing hook up. We had a plumber come and fanangle a way to attach the tub spout, and we still have not figured an (easy) way to install the single handle. Not sure if extra parts are needed ?

Pretty, easy to install
I purchased oil-rubbed-bronze door handles, kitchen knobs, bath fixtures, and lights for my entire house. I wanted high end. The Brantford ORB is very pretty, with a speckled brown finish and a Chess "pawn" shape to the brackets. The shower control installed very easily (screw driver), and the wife loves the sun and snowflake symbols for hot and cold. The shower-spout flange has small teeth to keep it firmly in place, a nice feature. The head is high quality (anti-clogging nozzles) but only has one setting, which works for me, but the wife says the spray pattern is slightly too wide for her! The tub spout is slip fit, designed for 1/2"W x 2.75"L copper pipe. Two tub pipes were too long, so I trimmed them to 2.5" and the spouts slipped right on. The tightening mechanism on the tub spouts is a welcome circular clamp rather than a dangerous hole-piercing screw. One tub pipe was 3.875"L threaded, but the Moen tub spout cannot be adapted to threads (that is, the internal slip fit is permanently attached to the spout), nor do Moen CSRs offer any alternative Moen products for threaded pipes less than 4.5"L. So in that one bath, I'll use the Kohler M-389 which fits a 3.625"L threaded pipe.

Attractive and functional
My plumber installed this in our guest bathroom, so I can't really comment on ease of installation. But certainly this set looks attractive (shiny chrome finish) and the handle and diverter move smoothly. In a nightmarish bathroom remodeling, it's great to be able to take a shower again! And Faucet Direct have been just wonderful, I highly recommend them for their helpfulness and customer service.

Great Purchase!
I have been searching for quite some time for a decent price on bath fixtures to remodel our bathroom. At all of the "big box" stores this tub/shower setup is over $250, I was delighted to find it for such a good price, and it is the exact same thing offered at Menards! Also, I ordered it on a Monday, and received it on Tuesday, completely unexpected. I have told all of my friends doing work to their homes about your site!

I bought my bathroom fixtures and notice that the tub spout is a slip fit type. How strong is it to hold the water pressure and not slip off

what about a drain kit to match?
The Moen T2153 can be matched with Moen T90331. All you would have to do is match the finish.

how do you balance hot & cold at interior fitting
The Moen T2153 adjusted temperatur. Left is Hot, Right is cold. Center is medium. Interior fitting adjusts with the turn of the handle.
I would like to control the flow of water, does this handle allow that?
The Moen T2153 is a standard shower unit. The water pressure will change along with the temperature as you turn the handle from left to right.

Yes, you can just unscrew the shower head to replace it.
How do I figure out which of the four valves to order?
Here is how the four valves differ. 2510 is IPS (Iron Pipe Size) Threaded Connection - Without Stops. 2520 is CC (Copper to Copper) Sweated / Soldered Connection - Without Stops. 2570 is IPS (Iron Pipe Size) Threaded Connection - With Stops. 2590 is CC (Copper to Copper) Sweated / Soldered Connection - With Stops. Depending on what your plumber or your current plumbing system uses you'll pick CC or IPS. Valve stops allows you to cut water off to your shower valve for repairs.

Yes, the Moen T2153 can replace an older Moen set, however you will need to purchase a new rough-in valve.
Would the T2153 be compatible to the Adler L82694? We are building a house and have this presently set in the tile for hookup, but decided we wanted to go with an oil bronze look, but could not find oil bronze in the alder collection. It needs to hook up with the installed plumbing for the alder.

How do you determine which valve you will need?
The Moen T2153 is compatible with Moen's 2510, 2520, 2570, or 2590...any one of these will be compatible with your setup. The reason why there are so many is because they all have different functions and connections.
