Easy Replacement I needed a Standard style shower handle replacement, because we broke the plastic handle on one of our showers. Buying this unit was much more cost effective than replacing everything! Installation was easy and complete in 30 minutes! November 12, 2010

Is there a matching lavatory faucet?

The Moen T2524 Single Handle Trim Kit for Standard Valve Shower is from the Monticello collection. There are several lavatory sink options in this collection including the #4557, the T4572, and the T4570.

Does this come in Brushed Nickel finish? Is there any other trim kit in Brushed Nickel finish for standard valve shower?

The Moen T2524 is not available in brushed nickel. But the T2444 is and it is the same design.

Does this come with a valve or do I have to order separately?

The valve for the Moen T2524 is sold separately, please see the 62720 displayed on our site.

The Moen T2524 will need the valve 62720.

Does this lever faucet have a "pull up" for the water pressure and dial for the temperature? Or does it increase the pressure as you turn it counter clockwise?

No, the Moen T2524 is a basic valve. Left and right for hot and cold and it pulls out and in for off and on.

I want a shower valve that when you reach the desired temp you can shut it of at that temp and than turn it on at the same temp.

I would recommend using the Delta T17278. The Separate volume and temperature controls for maximum comfort Handle adjusts volume; dial on handle controls temperature and the Monitor Scald-Guard valve keeps water temperature within +/-3 degree F.

Will this unit work on my present moen standard valve?

The Moen T2524 is going to be valve specific. Valve 62720 is the one that fits this unit.
