Things to consider
The faucet does not come with a drain ring or overflow cover so make sure to order one (we didn't and ended up with an added trip to the store).
The leaver to switch from downspout to sprayer is difficult to pull up.
Looks great on the tub!

How tall are the handles, from surface to top of lever? It's hard to tell in the picture.And the same with the Faucet itself.
The Moen T922 handles are 2 15/16" high.
Does the hand held shower come with the hose?
Yes, the Moen T922, comes with a hose for the hand held shower.
The spec. sheet for T922 Two-Handle Roman Tub Faucet w/built in diverter valve doesn't show a seperate rough-in valve.Is the Moen 9992 or -3 really needed ?
The Moen T922 does require the valve or it will not function.
What is the length of the hose for the hand held shower? I want to install it on the opposite end of the tub from the controls.
The Moen T922 hose is the standard 69 inches. At one end of the hose is the handshower and the other end is a smaller 24 inch leader hose that goes from bottom of valve to bottom of hose.
