Beautiful! We bought this to match the Brantford faucet and shower units we installed and love it. June 20, 2011

What a great centerpiece! We are replacing all polished brass, including hinges, door knobs, pulls, faucets, towel bars, shower rods, trim kits, drains, etc. This trim kit matches our other new Brantford bath items. My old builder-grade spout appeared to be Moen, so I took a chance that this trim kit would fit. My highly skilled plumber took a look and said no way would it fit. Then a low-paid handyman volunteered to try, and he really had no significant problems at all. So if you have a Pulte-built Moen spout with glass handles in a Jacuzzi tub, this will probably fit. There is one danger. The parts include a steel dowel to prevent the spout from twisting. The dowel must be a special alloy from DARPA -- the dowel cannot be machined. If the dowel gets wedged into its intended position but is too long, you can spend hours grinding this dowel down to where it is short enough to fit. So, don't touch that steel dowel! Just put some caulk under your spout and it won't twist. Once installed, this Roman fixture is beautiful. June 9, 2010

only a trim kit Please be aware that this is only a trim kit. That means you only get the handles and the nozzle. None of the inner workings are included. You must buy all that at additional costs. September 11, 2009

What is the spout reach?

The Moen T933 spout reach is 8-1/8".

If I'm replacing a different Moen facuet do I need to the valve to install?

You will want to make sure you are staying with the same manufacturer. The valves do vary by manufactuer and model. If you know what valve you have installed it would be easier to locate what roman tub faucets accept that valve.

What is the lever on the back of the faucet used for? Is it a diverter or for the drain?

The Moen T933 has a diverter on the back of the spout to operate the drain

does this faucet come with a drain assembly?

It is actually a roman tub spout and does not come with a tub drain assembly.

What is the difference between T933 & T4943?

The difference between the T4943 and the Moen T933, is the T4393 has a spout height of 4.5" and a reach of 6". The T933 has a spout height of 5" and a reach of 8 1/8".

Which drain assy product connects with the pull knob on the spout?

The Moen T933 is will fit any drain assembly.

Will valve 4992 fit theT-933? The Spec Sheet lists 4 valves but not 4992.

The Moen 4992 is is compatible for unit T-933. You can use valve 4992 for item T-933.
